I live in New York state near the coast, and my wife and I share a co-op. I'm usually somewhat left of center, but I try to think things through and not parrot anybody's party line. Besides politics I spend a fair amount of time playing computer games, and am interested in science and the Global Brain as well.
My wife and I donated a hundred to the red cross disaster relief fund at http://nyredcross.org/. I think we can do more after we see which organization is doing what in the long slog ahead.
